Open Spirit groups started meeting in the autumn of 2011, thanks to a large dollop of divine inspiration and a little practical help from Sam Wernham, Joy Hanson and Debbie Thorpe. Lots of lovely folks have added their support, ideas and love to make each meeting a wonderful sanctuary of spiritual companionship.

Following the early months of small, friendly groups at the Dartington Vicarage and our first retreat at Advent, Debbie and Sam are now beginning this online journal to share our reflections on this 'future church' journey and to offer our perspectives and reflections on living in the light of the Spirit.
